Introducing the “Aeon Trio,” featuring Darci Griffith, oboe; Stacie Haneline, piano; and Amy Peterson-Stout, viola. We are an all-female ensemble dedicated to commissioning and performing a wide variety of new music from all eras, creating a unique color and sound experience for audiences regardless of age or background.  By chance, we first performance together in 2006 and immediately recognized a special bond and an opportunity for each woman to share their unique musical tastes, personalities and passion.  From that first infectious experience the Aeon Trio was founded, educating and mentoring musicians and music lovers of all ages.

Dedicated  to sharing their enjoyment of chamber music, the Aeon Trio recently premiered a new,

groundbreaking commission by Jonathan Leshnoff, “A Souls Lament”, fulfilling the vision of the Aeon Trio for repertoire specifically tailored to our unique instrumentation.

The Aeon Trio has garnered critical acclaim for its performances, acting as featured performers for the Omaha Chamber Music Society summer concert series and most recently, collaborating with the Girl Scouts of America for their summer music education program.
